Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He blends jazz from the soul genre with R&B in a distinct blend. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway and at festivals in Europe as well as her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine, whose given name was Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta but she is from Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing and playing piano in the church. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she embarked on her journey of music in the Atlanta's R&B culture. Sunshine was the subject of national media attention due to her four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. She was invited to sing as part of Obama's inaugural ceremony in 2009.
